My poet

Michael gave this to me today. It was so lovely I wanted to share.

When I look at Toni it's like looking at a painting. It isn't like looking at a classic work. It most resembles the feeling I get when looking at a masterpiece by Picasso. Let me explain.
I see her from different angles all the time. I look at her face, the back of her neck; an ear; her nose, lips, neck and so on. I find beauty in everything I see within her. The inner beauty shines through her whole persona. I watch her walk; I fall in love. I watch her cook; I fall in love. I watch her sleep; and the love is overwhelming. Picasso is the only artist who could capture the feeling I have. His paintings isolate and extol each part of the woman he is painting. I understand for the first time the depth of what he was trying to say. Picasso understood the parts of beauty that made up the whole. He realized that when you are in love you look at your lover as a whole and in parts and that all the parts together reach a spiritual whole that leaps beyond the ordinary. My lover, my wife, my Toni is the beauty of the universe for me.

Hello from England and a fellow Woody Allen fan here. i knew this about you from the moment I saw the title of your blog on the Ageless Project.

NY happense to be a city I love. I've visited twice and stayed in Chinatown. I have tracked down a couple of locations used in Woddy's films, such as the Pageant Bookshop (now closed).

I miss the city very badly and hope fortunes will improve to allow me my third visit.
