We all have our el guapos

Today I was in Kinko's having a catalog printed and made a connection with this strange but very cool guy. Steve was a geek, glasses, kind of straight looking, but reinforced my belief that there are so many people who we may not normally see ourselves bonding with due to some pre-conceived judgement that they may not be like us.

As Steve worked hard to iron out some problems with the files I gave him, he periodically uttered statements like, "This is the kind of year that requires you be sedated," or "What I wouldn't give for a year's supply of Librium."

We all go through life each day with many of the same challenges and struggles. We're all more alike than we think.
